Fillet steak is best cooked quickly over a high heat and is particularly well suited to serving rare to medium.

It works particularly well:

• Pan fried
• Grilled
• Barbecued
• Served with chips or roasted vegetables
• Paired with peppercorn, mushroom or red wine sauce
• Used for dishes such as beef stroganoff or steak medallions

For best results, bring the steak towards room temperature before cooking, season well and sear in a very hot pan or on the barbecue. Rest before serving.

Your order may arrive chilled or frozen, depending on availability. If chilled, please keep refrigerated and enjoy by the use-by date shown on the label.

If frozen, transfer to the freezer or allow to defrost slowly in the fridge. If your beef arrives partially defrosted, keep refrigerated and enjoy within 24 hours.
